Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year! As your Principal, I want everyone who enters our school, whether a student, staff member, family member, or community member, to be excited to be here. 

The mission of Kiski Area School District is to empower every student to become productive citizens through meaningful educational experiences. I am thrilled to join the committed and hardworking team at Upper Elementary. We aim to offer a safe and nurturing environment that supports each learner’s academic and social needs. We encourage all 5th and 6th graders to actively participate in their school day and take advantage of the many clubs and programs available, helping them to thrive and grow as individuals. 

Family involvement is vital in schools as it boosts academic success, enhances behavior and attitudes, strengthens the home-school partnership, and supports overall student development and school initiatives. I challenge you to ask questions and connect with the dedicated “Family” of educators your student has been placed with. They have invested countless hours in preparing lessons and studying the curriculum, and look forward to creating memorable experiences with your child.
