Dear Kiski Area Upper Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2026 - 2027 school year at Kiski Area Upper Elementary! We are honored and excited to welcome both new and returning students and families to the KAUE Family. It is truly a privilege to serve as your principal and assistant principal, and we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in helping every child learn, grow, and succeed.

Together, we have proudly dedicated our entire educational careers to the Kiski Area School District, serving in a variety of roles as teachers, coaches, and now administrators. For the past five years, we have had the privilege of serving alongside one another at Kiski Area Upper Elementary in various roles, working together to support students, staff, and families while building upon the strong traditions that make KAUE such a special place. Our families are deeply rooted in the Kiski Area community, and we are honored to serve together at Kiski Area Upper Elementary.

Every decision we make is centered on what is best for students. We believe that every child deserves to be known, valued, encouraged, challenged, and celebrated. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel a true sense of belonging and are empowered to learn and grow. At Kiski Area Upper Elementary, Cavs LEAD is more than a slogan; it is who we are. Leadership, Empathy, Accountability, and Determination guide everything we do each day. These core values shape our culture, our relationships, and our commitment to helping every student reach their fullest potential academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.

We also know that a strong partnership between home and school is essential to student success.
